✅ Ideal if you need:
1. Projects needing fast, low-risk prototyping
Prototyping is usually where procurement timelines slip. A custom filter plate that has to be tooled from scratch, produced in a minimum batch of several hundred, and shipped from overseas turns a simple evaluation into a two-month commitment - and if the pore size or thickness turns out to be wrong, the whole batch is scrap.
We built our process to remove that risk:
Standard stock sheets ship within 24 hours of order confirmation - thicknesses of 3mm, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm in 500×500mm and 1000×1000mm sizes, in filtration grades from 5μm to 100μm, held in inventory for immediate dispatch. If you need to validate a concept this week, you are not waiting on a production schedule.
Custom cut and custom performance orders can be prototyped in small quantities, including a genuinely single-piece lab sample. There is no 500-piece or 1000-piece minimum hiding behind the word "customized" - you can order one sheet cut to your drawing, in your specified pore size, and test it on your actual equipment.
Prototype samples can be produced in roughly 5 working days, with test reports included, so you can verify dimensional fit, pressure drop and filtration performance before mass production begins. Nothing moves to volume until your engineer signs off.
Sample fees are credited back. A custom prototype fee is 100% deductible from your first bulk order, so the cost of evaluating us is effectively zero if you proceed.
Free standard samples are available at 100×100mm for material and quality verification; you cover only the international shipping cost. This is the fastest way to test chemical compatibility and pore structure before designing a full part.
Material and grade can be changed between prototype and production without restarting the process. If your sample run reveals that PP handles your 85°C duty better than PE, or that a smaller pore size gives better clarity, we adjust the specification rather than forcing you into the grade you first guessed.
For engineering teams evaluating multiple suppliers in parallel, this means you can run a real side-by-side comparison on your own equipment within a week - instead of comparing datasheets and hoping the numbers translate to your process.
2.. Equipment with non-standard installation geometry
Off-the-shelf filter plates fit standard housings. Real industrial equipment rarely does. Retrofits, legacy housings, imported machinery and custom-built process skids all tend to demand a shape that does not exist in any catalog - and the usual answer is either an expensive new housing or a compromised fit with bypass leakage and uneven flow.
Our sintered plastic sheets are designed to be worked, not just installed:
Field-friendly machining. Sheets can be cut, drilled, milled, tapped and hot-welded on site using ordinary plastic-working tools - a band saw, a hole saw, a router or a standard workshop drill. No waterjet, no CNC, no special tooling required. Your own maintenance team can adjust a part in an afternoon instead of waiting on a supplier.
Supplied pre-cut to your CAD drawing. If you would rather not touch it, send us the drawing and we deliver the finished profile: circular, square, rectangular, ring-shaped, or an irregular outline with shaped cutouts for existing mounting points.
Mounting features built in. We can add mounting holes, counterbores, edge grooves, sealing lips and O-ring seats directly during production, so the part drops into your existing frame without adapters between the sheet and the housing.
Welded frames and connectors. For applications that need an integrated assembly, we hot-weld solid plastic frames, flanges.
Threaded connectors and spigots to the sintered sheet, delivering a finished unit that bolts on rather than a sheet you have to assemble.
Thickness held to ±0.1mm, with flatness controlled across the full panel, so sealing faces close evenly and you avoid the leak paths that come from a warped or inconsistent sheet.
Tight fit in confined spaces. Custom sizing means you can match an existing aperture exactly, removing the bypass flow that plagues oversized replacements and the vibration that comes from undersized ones.
Retrofit without redesign. Because the sheet itself can be shaped to the housing, you can replace a worn perforated plate, a failed filter cloth assembly or a corroded metal element with a sintered polymer equivalent at the same interface - no new housing, no new piping, no shutdown for re-engineering.
If you send us a photo of your existing part alongside the drawing, we will most often identify the mounting features that matter and quote a drop-in replacement.
❌ Not the right fit if you need:
Filtration of concentrated strong oxidizing acids
PVDF grade covers most aggressive chemical duty, but concentrated oxidizing acids attack the polymer chain itself. In those extreme cases, titanium or stainless sintered media is the right recommendation, and we will steer you there directly.
Very high differential pressure without support
Standard sheets are rated to about 1.0MPa, and high-pressure duty requires an added reinforcing frame. If your system runs above that without a support structure, specify a reinforced assembly or switch to a rigid metal element.
Disposable, single-use filter media
Our sheets are built for long-term reuse, not throwaway duty. If your process genuinely requires single-use media for contamination control or disposal reasons, a melt-blown or membrane cartridge will be more economical than paying for a reusable sheet you will discard after one cycle.
Sub-micron absolute-rated sterile filtration
Below roughly 0.2μm, absolute-rated membrane filtration is the appropriate technology. Sintered polymer sheets are excellent for micron-level clarification, prefiltration and membrane support layers, but they are not a substitute for validated sterilizing-grade membranes.

Precision tighter than your current spec allows - pore size is adjustable from 0.5μm to 200μm, so your target may be achievable
Thickness-critical installations - thickness is held to ±0.1mm, but sealing and gasket design should be reviewed together
First-time conversion from filter cloth or perforated plate - we can map your existing flow rate and pressure drop onto a sintered equivalent
