Project Background
For coated titanium anodes, proper packaging helps maintain the product condition during international transportation. In this project, NAVI Titanium prepared customized titanium anodes for an overseas industrial customer. The products included coated working surfaces and conductive connection areas that required protection from friction, impact, pressure, and unnecessary movement. Before packing, the production, quality, and packaging teams reviewed the product structure, dimensions, coating condition, connection points, quantity, and transportation requirements. The packing method was then adjusted according to the actual product configuration rather than using one standard method for every order.
Customer Packaging Requirements
The customer required the titanium anodes to arrive in good condition and remain suitable for inspection and installation after delivery. The main concerns were the coated surfaces, connection areas, product edges, and internal movement during transportation.
| Area | Packaging Focus |
| Coated surface | Prevent friction, scratching, and direct contact |
| Connection area | Reduce impact on terminals and protruding parts |
| Multiple products | Maintain separation between anodes |
| Internal space | Reduce unnecessary movement |
| Outer package | Provide suitable protection for export transportation |
The final arrangement was determined according to product dimensions, quantity, weight, transportation method, and customer requirements.
Protection Solutions
After product inspection, soft and non-abrasive protective materials were applied to vulnerable surfaces. When multiple anodes were included, separation materials were placed between products to reduce surface-to-surface contact.
The protection was adjusted according to the actual shape of each anode. Edges and corners were also considered where necessary, while excessive pressure on coated areas was avoided. This created a protective layer between the finished product and the surrounding packaging materials.

Terminal and Connection Protection

Titanium anodes may include conductive rods, terminals, threaded sections, welded connections, or other protruding components. These areas can be more exposed to impact during handling. The packing team therefore checked the connection structure separately and added localized protection where required.
Key points included:
- Protect protruding terminals from impact.
- Prevent connection parts from pressing against package walls.
- Keep adjacent anodes from contacting each other.
- Avoid interference with installation-related components.
- Provide additional support for long or vulnerable structures.
This approach helps protect both the functional coating and mechanical connection areas.
Internal Positioning and Separation
Outer packaging alone cannot prevent products from moving inside a carton or wooden case. Internal positioning is therefore an important part of the packing process. The anodes were arranged according to their dimensions and structure, with suitable cushioning and support added at key points. Long components could require additional support along their length, while plate structures required careful protection around their edges.
Before closing the package, the team checked the internal arrangement from different directions and adjusted the support if unnecessary movement was found.
Export Packaging
The outer package was selected according to the actual shipment requirements.
| Packaging Type | Typical Consideration |
| Reinforced carton | Suitable for compact products with manageable weight |
| Wooden case | Suitable for larger, heavier, or more sensitive products |
| Custom internal support | Used when product shape or connection structure requires additional positioning |
The protected anodes were carefully placed into the selected package, with cushioning and separation materials added between the products and package walls. The package was then reinforced and identified according to the shipment requirements.
Final Packing Inspection
Before shipment, the quality and packaging teams conducted a final inspection to confirm that the products and package met the agreed requirements. The inspection typically covered:
- Product quantity and identification
- Coated surface condition
- Terminals and connection areas
- Internal separation and support
- Package condition and reinforcement
- Shipping marks and identification
For customized orders, the final arrangement could also be checked against the customer's drawings or special packing instructions. Packing photographs may be taken before and after closure to record the product condition, internal protection, and finished export package.

Packaging for Different Anode Structures
Different titanium anode structures require different packing considerations.
| Anode Structure | Main Packaging Focus |
| Plate anode | Surface and edge protection |
| Mesh anode | Prevent deformation and protect edges |
| Rod anode | Lengthwise support and end protection |
| Tubular anode | Prevent rolling and connection damage |
| Customized assembly | Protection based on the complete structure |
The packaging method can therefore be adjusted according to the product drawing, dimensions, quantity, connection design, and transportation requirements.
NAVI Titanium's Engineering Approach
At NAVI Titanium, packaging is considered part of the customized product delivery process. The production, quality, and packaging teams work together to determine how the finished titanium anodes should be protected before shipment. The process can be summarized as:
Product Inspection → Surface Protection → Connection Protection → Internal Positioning → Export Packaging → Final Inspection → Shipment
For customized projects, customers can provide drawings, samples, dimensions, or specific packing requirements for evaluation. NAVI Titanium can then adjust the internal protection and export packing arrangement according to the actual product and project conditions. The goal is to provide not only a finished titanium anode, but also a practical delivery solution covering manufacturing, inspection, packaging, documentation, and international transportation.
